And soon after that, he lead us both OUT!
In the above link, you will see (very briefly) a flash of "marketing material" where this so-called "pastor" shows us some of his church's "marketing materials" that reference the "Heroes schtick."
These are photos I took of the outside of the "Destinty Church" in Broken Arrow (Tulsa) Oklahoma, back in early 2007.
I knew then that there was something afoot. I guess I shouldn't be suprised.
I thought church was about saints loving GOD who had saved them!
My original point in taking the photos was my "shock" that people would equate Jesus as just another in a long succession of "worldly heroes" - such as those pictured there.
But I see from this interview at "A Little Leaven", that it's not just a local phenomenon.
And really - I'm not suprised. In fact, I'm wonderfully encouraged. It's a demonstration that God is working in the lives of his chosen. He saved me. He saved my wife. He saved us together. And this is yet another confirmation.
